What about adding a length of hard flashing? That sealer will not be watertight over time.

There is metal flashing tucked into the siding where I am sealing with silicone. It is the black strip.

Great job, those roof shingles arnt a thing here in the uk, we slap on the felt and call it done and it looks shit to be honest, 😮

Thank you!! Wow, the felt here in the U.S. would only last maybe a year if not 6 months. The cedar shingles are very expensive, but that's what the customer wanted.

How many 2x4s did you buy? Also is it the same screws through the entire video?

Boy, I really can't remember how many 2x4's. Probably 6 or 7. I used regular exterior screws to fasten the wood together and lag screws to fasten ledger to the garage wall.

What angle did you cut the 4- 2by4 runners?

I believe they were cut at 30 degrees.
