Angelica, I usually buy an extra pack of boneless chicken breast every time I buy chicken breast, specifically to cook and shred and store in my freezer. I end up with a substantial amount of 3 cup freezer bags for those quick meals I need. They’re easy to unthaw and can be used in so so many different meals. Saves me money too.

I used to top a bunch of chili and beans with refrigerated biscuits and cheese. The kids loved it. Those little cans are very useful for filling up for less money :-)

add fresh chopped onion(any) sub out cream of chicken with cream of mushroom and boom, this is pretty much what I have had a lot of success with in the past with either chicken or canned tuna. You can sub biscuits for a typical bag of egg noodles pre cooked to al dante. simmering fresh garlic and spices in a little olive olive oil with the onions will make this dish really pop! the more you lean with fresh ingredients, the better it becomes as well. cheers!

Hi first I love your videos. I've made several recipes of yours. I tried this today since we have some cool weather here in Tx. My hubby loved it. One of the things I did differently is I added biscuits on the bottom of the pan too. 😋 and I added spinach since I had a bag there that I needed to use.

I use Bisquick chicken pot pie recipe off the box. Rotisserie chicken is really good and easy. I also use frozen peas and carrots blend, cooked before combining everything to bake.

Made this yesterday and yes it was delicious. Instead of using sliced onions I added some frozen pearl onions….saves a tiny bit of time. They are also an interesting addition to French onion soup with the caramelized onions.
