Does this work with any combination of 25 stitches +3?

Hi there, yes, so you can make it as long or wide as you want to by following the multiple of 25 + 3.

The only thing I don’t like about this pattern are the huge holes in the valleys. Is there a way to do less chains?

Hi there, I haven't tried it with less chains, but it could possible work to make those holes a bit smaller. Also, another thing you could do is to make sure that when you make the first double crochet after skipping five chains, make sure that the stitch is extra tight. I'm a pretty loose crocheter and I made that stitch a bit tighter. I found that it did help close the gap a bit. I hope that helps! 😊

This yarn is gorgeous BUT it has to be hand washed and lay flat to dry, not for me, Thank you. I will use your video/ pattern with a different yarn. Thank you for the instructions. In the future would it be possible for you to work to at least the 3rd row. Thank you ❤
