I would like to see you do a picture with really dirt cheap art markers that can be shipped world wide. (For instance ohuhu markers, art-n-fly markers, and touchnew markers are all example of markers that are alcohol based, dirt cheap and shipped world wide)

Ich bin so unendlich faul, was Hintergründe angeht. Ich nutze zu 90% Verläufe, Farbkleckse oder random Texturen. Ich weiß, dass ein guter, ausgearbeiteter Hintergrund ein Bild mega aufwerten kann, aber ich verliere dabei schnell die Geduld und fange an zu schludern. Ich konzentriere mich viel lieber auf Charakterdesign, haha xD Umso hilfreicher finde ich dieses Video, es zeigt wie man ganz einfach einen effektvollen Hintergrund zaubern kann. Das werde ich auf jeden Fal mal ausprobieren

Well that makes sense! It's hard to color if you don't have anything to color with, silly. Try to get something to color with before you say you can't do it!

kylie A.R.M.Y it takes time. It took me almost 2 years to get to a point where I understood shading, but I’m still perfecting it. It takes a lot of thinking and reflecting.

When iam making backgrounds i just go for some bubbles in green and pink or its just blue iam to lazy to do backgrounds and i don't want them to ruin the picture that is also why my drawings look unfinished any tips to improve ? Bin auch deutsche könnt also auch auf deutsch schreiben

+Flem li uuh das macht mir das erklären leichter xD mir ging es genauso und teilweise ist es bei mir immer noch so. Wenn du Angst hast das Bild zu ruinieren, dann mach dir auf einem anderen Blatt oder ins Skizzenbuch thumbnails in denen du mögliche Hintergründe ausprobieren kannst. Vieles wirkt anders mit Farbverläufen, du könntest zu dem Blau einen Übergang von hell zu dunkel, oder wie ich in meinem letzten Video gezeigt hab, mit buntis Wolken oder Nebel drüber malen. Das wirkt dann immer vielschichtig und dadurch entsteht mehr Tiefe.

They’ll dry out eventually, if you don’t use them they’ll dry out by themselves, so use them!

I can't seem to blend the colours well at all, I am using a bv00 instead and using copic Ciao but why aren't they blending well?

Maybe it's the paper, try a different kind of paper, that can do the trick too
