It's NOT abuse! My goodness, you'd never do that, and neither would I. I've had cats all my life, and I'm 60 as of July 5, and though the cat may not like to wear the hat, it won't hurt him/her. My cat wears a coat in Winter willingly. Anyway, I love this, and I'm going to try it for my cat. I don't know if he'll wear it, either, but if he equates it with going "bye-bye", he'll do anything, especially if I give him "cookies" (treats) for doing it, lol. Thanks for the tutorial Crystal; I'll be doing this one very soon! :) It's so cute! Oh, and Robert is a very handsome cat!

Great comment, people can be so judgemental when they are ill informed. Our kitty has her winter pyjamas (a coat) she comes when we call and say pyjama time, steps forward into the front leg holes herself and then lays down to have it fastened at the back of her neck. Cats would never wear or even pretend to tolerate anything that offends their delicate sensibilities! Granted some cats will rebel but those that don't are most definitely not being abused. I'm absolutely presenting this item to her majesty Xena kitty for her approval! Who knows if she'll wear it but I love it and it's well worth a go! I’m making this for one of my cats that has had brain cancerous tumors in his ear canal, under went treatment and he responded well, and now is back in the same area we’re the surgery took place and has being scratching, so I’m making him a hat so he doesn’t have to wear a cone as he hate it and that way he will be more comfortable in his last days.
