Foundation Chain: Start with a chain of 12 stitches and join to form a ring.
Round 1: Work 32 double crochets into the ring; join with a slip stitch.
Round 2: Chain 3, double crochet in the next stitch, chain 5, skip one stitch, double crochet in the next three stitches; repeat from * to * around, ending with two double crochets; join with a slip stitch.
Round 3: Chain 2, work 9 double crochets into the chain-5 space, chain 2, single crochet into the second double crochet of the three-double-crochet group; repeat around; join with a slip stitch.
