Thank you for keeping your beginners in mind. I am so intimidated by amigurimi. I have made a couple things, but they didn't come out right, and I was so frustrated. I love your workaround! 💕

I used this very easy to follow tutorial and I went to family Halloween party and used colors to fit each of the people who I made them for. an example, my daughter is a Raider's fan so I made grey, lbs and white pumpkins. they were a hit!

You're very easy to listen to and follow. As a frustrated beginner, it would be so helpful to actually see the label with the specs of the yarn. I've bought a few different types and weights but they never seem to be the kind of yarn needed for a specific tutorial/video. Thanks!

If u do a regular double crochet in the first and last stitch ur edges will be straight...so don't go in the back loops on ur first and last stitch.

What type of yarn was used for the gray pumpkin? I have made a couple pumpkins and the stuffing came be seen within the stitches so I was wondering if that’s normal.
@estherrouillard71228 жыл бұрын
Wow! Thats a cute simple but Beautiful project! Love it! I would love to hear your thoughts about stuffing... I've heard that more is more, that you have to push hard to insert as much stuffing as possible... But sometimes i feel like to much stuffing is affecting the shape , especially when it comes to amigurumi! But with uses, the stuffing mignt get flatter... So what's best?
@MelanieHam8 жыл бұрын
Well, these aren't going to be getting too much use, it depends on what it will be used for. I stuffed the grey one too much and took some out before finishing it up ;)

Even with a lavender hook, white yarn with a white background...that's a no-no. For those w/vision challenges, it does not work at all.
