Okay. I am looking at making another snood. I'll film it when I make it.

You could put black elastic in the back, under your hair. That way you could adjust the tension if needed.

Great suggestion, thanks. I was thinking of elastic in my next snood.

I just found you, I had a snood from a renaissance festival in the 90s but it was a small one that just holds a ponytail. I want to make one for my hair now that it’s super long. This is very beautiful!

Thank you very much for he kind words. Ren Faires are so much fun. I want to crochet another snood with 'pearl' beads in it. Have fun making yours.

My sister always worn a white hair net too work as a waitress. She always looked so elegant with it on. I've tried making one like it but it doesn't hang like hers did. I'm guessing I will have too wait my hair is as long as hers too look right.

That could be. I know I tried to make a snood years ago but my hair was so short it didn't look good. I may try remaking it now I have longer hair.

It's a beautiful snood! I'd have to make mine with lighter color because of my dark hair. Thank you!

What size hook did you use?
@carriescostumescrochet
@carriescostumescrochet 6 ай бұрын
Oh, I didn't mention that in the video. Sorry about that. I usually use between a 0.9mm - 2.75mm when I use cotton. Judging by my tension and the results I would guess either a 1.5mm or 2.mm. It all depends on your tension and the look you want to get. My mother always uses a 1mm hook, but I often get too tight with my tension and it becomes impossible to work.
