I accomplished 2 firsts by finishing this hat: 1) my first toddler sized hat and 2’ my first hat that starts from the brim. (I’m accustomed to starting with the magic ring.) Thanks for this wonderful tutorial! I will be sharing it on my Facebook page along with pictures of the hat I made for my friends granddaughter.

I don’t know what I am doing wrong but the hat is coming out way too small. Followed it to the t and even used a size larger hook, still too small

You have a written pattern. How do I get that Same written pattern you refer to?

It should be linked in the video description. Sometimes they do a revision of the pattern but it's still the same instruction. The revisions are sometimes just layouts. I throw out my notes after filming so I don't have anything to scan to show you.
