This was by far the best beanie tutorial I have viewed. I now have a better understanding on how to use the size chart and where to use the tape measure. so good, hope I can adapt adding a beanie portion to the top of a straw hat I burned by keeping atop a lamp. I cut out the burnt part and looking to somehow replace it with a metallic mesh beanie. Wish me luck I am a lifetime knitter for decades but minimal crochet. I admire your excellent teaching skills and camera work. At 82 I need all the help I can get and you are the best! Blessings!

Hello, This is a perfect video almost. Lol I found a way to make the v look like a finished single crochet. Insert the needle as you did under the next stitch, but after pulling the yarn through, go down in the top on the prior stitch instead of under it. Perfect V. Weave in the ends and..That's it! I have only just found you and love your designs. I can crochet but have trouble following a chart. They seem to go along like a book where I need them to stop at each row. leave that line and start the next on a fresh line. I watch and mark the time stamp at the important points, so I can go straight to it when I need to. Well explained. Thanks. My Great grand baby is getting one for her next birthday.
