Easy Crock-Pot Meal Idea To Beat The Summer Heat! Crock-Pot Italian Chicken!

This crock-pot meal could not be any easier! This is an all in one dish. Not only is it simple but it is so delicious! Crock-pot meals are a go to for me in the summer so that I am not heating up my kitchen by using my oven. I hope your family loves this meal as much as mine did!
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
2 lbs of baby red potatoes sliced in half
1/2 yellow onion chopped
16 oz page of frozen green beans
1 cup Italian salad dressing
2 tbsp Italian seasoning - divided
2 tbsp garlic powder - divided
Salt & pepper
4 tbsp butter
Place onions, potatoes and green beans in crock-pot. Season with 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning, 1 tbsp of garlic powder and a teaspoon of salt & pepper
Add chicken on top and add your remaining seasonings. Then add your Italian dressing. Top with 4 tbsp of butter. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours or until chicken is done. Enjoy!

Thank you 🥰 most nights 3 of us. (Jacob was out of town on this night so it was just me and my hubby, but we enjoyed the leftovers!) We usually make a plate for Jacob and he eats later in the evening when he’s home or sometimes we’re blessed and he gets home early and eats with us 🥰 But, let me tell you, that boy can eat, lol! 😂 it’s like feeding 2 people, haha! 🤣

I have russet medium sized potatoes, no frozen green beans, tbut frozen California mix veggies, could those substitute and should I change the time? Thanks

For the potatoes you want 2 lbs so probably around 3 medium potatoes, possibly 4, just depends on the size of the potatoes. I’d cut them into small chunks instead of just halving them and try and keep the size of each chunk consistent. I think your veggies will be fine and you can cook this the same amount of time. How many oz’s is your bag of frozen veggies? You may want to add a little more seasoning but you can do a taste test when it’s done and decide at that time 🙂 I hope this helped!
