I have one it’s awesome but I use my original tqi with docking base because I love being able to use the the 5 cell rechargeable receiver battery pack in the base

I think it’s useful yes but.. they’re making a gizmo to hold your phone when they already took away the original version that held your phone. ???????🤔🙄 I get they needed to have more compatibility then the older style tqi radio. I still have the TQi radio that has the docking base that I use with my summit, tmaxx, nitro slash, mini Revo etc and it works perfectly. You can read it it’s right below the controller perfect position to be visible . Why did they take away the docking base in the first place other than the use of android phones it’s like a double double negative . To add insult to injury to the guys that spent $200 on the then upgraded 5 channel docking base tqi radio they now have the new receivers for the bluetooth tqi that don’t bind with the old radio system. They never said but i figured that out when i got my TRX-4 & mustang GT 4tec 2.0 & they will not bind to the old radio. Why Traxxas why really not helpful Traxxas.

I hate tq connectors they need to make this stupid radio intelligent actually simple is better. When you have to adjust the trims it’s hopeless. Why Traxxas why???
