I film myself a lot, and as a solo filmmaker there are a few tricks I have learned to make boring videos more cinematic and visually interesting. Visual effects can be very helpful in making videos where you film yourself more engaging and especially enhance your storytelling. In this video I show behind the scenes of my cinematography, how I set up lighting, and give a davinci resolve fusion tutorial on how I add some cool sci-fi VFX to make my video as cinematic as possible.
