@lkhicks6866 not as much as I'd like to. I lost my "sew joe" for some reason for like 6 months or more and I'm starting to get the itch to start back up again. I like to sew useful things for around the house and bags, such as zippered cosmetic type bags and tote bags, boxy bags etc. Only been sewing for a few years now. Self taught, you tube all the way. Always learning more. How about you?

Thank you for this great tutorial! I have made many bowl cozies from other videos and always found them to be fiddly and time consuming. Your video has shaved many steps: - love the template -- saves the constant measuring repetitively; - cutting the batting smaller than the fabric saves trimming; - 1/2 inch seams around the outside instead of 1/4 inch makes the sewing more forgiving; - sewing between the notches makes turning and sewing that opening closed so much easier; - starting the darts at the batting instead of the edge of the fabric saves clipping the seams later on. Loved the way you showed how to trim the darts too. - I never thought of running the machine for 1/2 inch at the bottom of the dart, so easy!; - doing the quilting at the end instead of at the beginning cuts out much of the stitching, and using the opposite corner to guide the diagonal lines is genius. You can probably tell from my comments that I am fairly new to quilting so I appreciated all of your tricks and tips. One thing I did differently from you is I used my walking foot for the entire time because my machine would not let me do the edge stitching with all that bulk without looking very uneven and terrible. I was able to do the edging by moving my needle to the far right so that the left side of the walking foot held down the fabric while the right side of the foot just barely held the edge of the cozie down. It was okay and I did get better at it. Thanks again from Victoria, BC, Canada. I have liked and subscribed.

She was going to pay 12 dollars a piece for them. I just about had a cow. I have tons of cotton fabric and cotton batting. I will still make your pattern too. I like how neat it comes together. I only have to make 32 of them. Guess I better get busy. Thank you for sharing. I bought the Juki Haruka this summer. I love that machine.
