EASY DIY POUF OTTOMAN TUTORIAL // IKEA HACK!

I made this but I used different fabrics for each side and added a zipper so I could remove the bean bag filling if I wanted. (I used that instead of stuffing). It turned out amazing! Great video! Thanks :)

Great idea! How much bean bag filling did you need? For example, I see 75L, 100L, etc.

If anyone is interested, the selvedge is where the fabric is held in the loom. It is more tightly woven, so if making curtains, always cut it off. You can use it to reinforce seams in high wear areas, or tying plants up in the garden.

Also, when your pillows are getting ugly, you can use the stuffing from them for these sorts of projects.

Hey girl ! Nice innovative idea. But I am afraid that it will lose its puffiness and cute fluff after some time. Could you tell me some idea of keeping it that fluffy for longer? Maybe through filling...or through outer cover. Waiting for your response sweety

Charlotte Shaffer I’m glad you liked the video! So to make it higher you would need to increase the length on the sides that are laying out apart from the center square. So in the end you end up with a center square surrounded by four rectangles and then one rectangle has another square attached to it. Those squares are the top and bottom. I hope that makes sense! It also might help to duplicate the drawing in my video and then make the above adjustments so you can visualize what I mean. Thanks for your comment!
