Awesome Video. Thank you for showing me how to add a continuous zipper to the Pouf. Where would you recommend purchasing the Pouf Forms? Thank you again.

I am starting to plan a different sized pouf cover, and this video probably saved me a few hours of rework. I will be making an existing pouf match a newly covered sofa and chair. One question, why do you serge the edges of the fabric? That's not something i would have done on the furniture.

Thanks for your comment! We serge the seams to prevent them from fraying in the case the client removes the cover for cleaning. It also gives a professional, finished look. You might notice we didn't serge the insert seams as they will never be exposed.

@@TheWorkroomChannel Perfect, thankyou. I will see if I can serge the edges of the cover I am going to make for an existing pouf, so that it will match the chair & sofa. The fabric frays very easily, and the pouf gets lots of wear and tear. Your online instructions already saved me an error, as I was planning to insert an 18x18x12 pouf through one 18 inch hole. My logic was that it works for my cushions.

Great Video! Why do you use a metal zipper?
@TheWorkroomChannel

Hi Sue, The first reason is because we simply like the look of the exposed brass teeth! Second, the metal zipper is a bit sturdier and you don't have to worry about bending the teeth.
