Peech, have watched you off and on for probably a year and a half, you give so much to us all in regards to ideas and techniques- thank you. Here’s an ideal you might want to consider. I made large pot spoons last fall at $20 a spoon, sold 112 between thanksgiving and December 20th just by word of mouth, no social media advertising. Most were made from wormy maple, light and dark colors. Some were made from cherry and black walnut. I can send pictures if interested. I used a Foredom to scoop out wood, not necessary but much easier. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge, much appreciated.

Pickle! Stumbled across your channel a couple weeks ago & love your videos! I said, I can do this! Went & dropped $400 on tools & supplies including pickets & another $180 on materials to build a work table yesterday. Building the table today & then we are gonna get busy building some of your ideas so we can get some money coming in. I work full time but hubby has had trouble finding work so hopefully this works out! He will cut & build & after I get off of work at 1pm (I work split shift from home online & have off 1pm to 7pm) I will do the painting, staining, stenciling, decorating, & marketing! Fingers crossed we are successful bc damn its hard out in this economy! We have kids to feed!

Good luck to you! Times are expensive! I have done great. Just one tip. If something isn't selling, doesn't mean something else won't. Take a look around your area. What's already being offered? I use to sell a ton of fan trellises. Now, I can't give them away. Too many people selling them. But obelisks? Seems I am the only person making those. Child picnic tables, always a great seller. And so quick to make! Keep offering different items. Don't make a ton of an item until you know it will sell. I am stuck with some things. That became gifts.lol I hope you have great success...and fun!

Pickle! Thanks for making these videos! I can see how they’re a HUGE help for folks (like me) who have no idea what is popular or what sells. After retiring from the military. I took a fine woodworking approach to the craft, and sales are few and far between. However, after watching some of these videos, I realized that my fiancé probably knows what she’s talking about when she tells me to make decorative gimmicky things. Why? Because they actually sell! 😂 I’ll be looking around at what is trending more often now, and making some simple projects at a lower cost, in order to come out ahead on craft fairs, festivals, and whatever else I decide to do.

PICKLE... I'm so addicted and inspired with your videos! I have decided that I want to start woodworking, unfortunately I haven't started yet, but I just purchased a router table. I have a sliding compound miter saw that I've used a few summers ago, because I built a gate for my back deck, which I'll need to build again because its falling apart... and a table saw that I've never used that was given to me by my step dad. I have a garage but up here in Central NY it is November and cold, so unless I buy a woodstove for my garage I won't be out there. Fingers crossed I get a woodstove soon! Thank you for making these videos I have a bad habit of watching you while I'm at work. Keep these videos coming brother!
