Easy Exhaust Upgrade | Fresh Fiata

Seriously one of the easiest exhaust upgrades I've ever done. Now the car sounds right!

I think the Abarth 500 still sounds more aggressive, but this muffler delete from AutoRicambi makes the 124 sound like it should from the factory. Nice way to shed a few pounds, too.

@@BookAutowerksI noticed (@4:08 mark) the twin tips fit nicely in the plastic exhaust cut outs, that was one of my concerns. I think I’m ready to call AR to put my order in. I will order the resonated exhaust, cause I’m still not sure if the sound will be to annoying for me on long highway trips. Any suggestions, thanks.

@@alexbellesia9676 do you have an Abarth or a Classica/Lusso? The Classica and Lusso have a factory midpipe resonator and don't need the resonated exhaust. The Abarth doesn't have a midpipe resonator so you might want the resonated one.

I thoroughly enjoy your vids, especially the fiat 124 spider ones, as I too have one. I’m in Ontario Canada and I heard that the reverse/brake light area at the bottom is only for show in Canada and US models as to Europe ones, yet I noticed your reverse light light up when you had the car on the stands… did you yourself hook the brake and reverse lights to the bottom light kit that sits at the lower end rear of the car? If so. Did you create a vid on that? Or would you ever do one showing us not to car savvy users how to do this correctly? Thx a million… keep up the great vids

Mine came that way. Would be odd for them to not hook it up as reverse lights are required in the US. I'll compare mine to someone else's at our next FIAT meet to see how they are.

OMG, what a huge difference...sounds amazing! Now that you have had it for a while do you think it sounds too loud or is it just right?

Before you could barely hear the car with the top down, but now I think it sounds just right. It's slightly more muted than a factory Abarth 500 if you know what those sound like.

Same hangers on the MX5 and they were a bitch. I don't remember standard size nuts and bolts though. Now your Fiat 124 no muffler matches your 4C's factory no muffler system. Sounds way better, I'd like to hear it in the higher RPM.

Yeah I struggled to get that first hanger loose for like 10min. After getting the one loose it gave enough wiggle room that the others came out easy. I could come do a donut in your cul de sac if you'd like... LoL

Was that originally a 4 tip exhaust? I saw the original come off and it just had the two straight pipes? Missing the ends? Just wanna make sure I’m looking at the same original exhaust (record manza?).

Mine is the Classica trim level which has a factory two tip exhaust. The Abarths have a factory four tip muffler.
