Where can l get that beautiful fabric? I love this
@abitofbirdsong7 ай бұрын
Hi Lynn! Sorry it took me so long to reply! I believe many of these fabrics came from either some sari strips that were gifted to me or scraps from a thrift store. I don't really have a shop name to refer you to. Thank you so much!

How long are your fabric strips? Love your video.

Hi Rhonda! Thank you so much! They vary, depending on the size of tassel. I would say 8 to 10 inches, and then folded, but you can cut longer strips and end up with a longer tassel. 💗🎄

Do you have any tips for keeping the fabric from fraying? Thanks.
@abitofbirdsong4 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex! Thank you for asking this. As a general rule, in the past I have used something like fray check to prevent fraying, but honestly, on these tassels I don't use anything. I HAVE ended up with strips of fabric that I felt were too frayed, and I culled those from what I would use in the tassels. I typically stay on the organic, messy side of things, so I don't do much to prevent fraying. Perhaps even a tiny bit of white glue along the edges of badly fraying strips would help? xxLynn
