My son and I are taking my grandson fishing today, first time for the year ( for us all)! I’m excited about going too! I haven’t been fishing in a number of years but I plan on remedying that this year and get back into the swing of it! So good fishing to you and talk to you soon! 👍

Easy Fishing Bill I remember as a kid Bedford Park was full of the reds those were the days, happy fishing mate thanks for your replies. Gonna spend a full day fishing this Saturday yes on the Great River Ouse 👍

Tony Napoli Hi Tony I wonder if that little pond in Bedford park is still full of fish it was 40 years ago? It’s such a shame the boating lake has gone down the ‘swany’ as I had a lot of big fish from there until about 2002. Tight Lines

Easy Fishing the boating lake went down the ( Swany ) years ago mate, spent a lot of hrs fishing there again many good memories. 👍laters

Nice video Bill you really are getting me intrigued with fishing these small streams especially the free ones lol. Nice to see you fishing cant fault a day on the bank. I caught an 8lb 4oz mirror at my local commercial the other day in freezing conditions, a PB for me and hope to catch a double figure Carp in the not too distant future but like you say, its just good to be catching fish no matter the size. I'm fishing the same commercial again tomorrow but with the much improved weather conditions compared to when i last fished (i was the only angler on the entire fishery!) i'm sure there will be a few there tomorrow and the peg that i want will probably be taken but i'll see. Keep the vids coming mate always good to watch you fishing and tight lines.

The stick float is mostly used close in and offers incredible control of the float, a method everyone should try to master.

Easy Fishing - Amen to that! I too have been fishing since I was about 4 yrs old ( I will be 58 February 26th), and for my birthday, next Saturday my brother is taking me to the 3rd Annual Catfish Conference in Louisville Kentucky! Am very very excited about that too!

They have black squirrels up in Michigan but those squirrels have more of that “tuft” on the tips of their ears. When I was in the Ky National Guard we had went to Camp Grayling Michigan for summer camp one year and that was the first time I had ever seen a black squirrel ( they looked much like a Red Squirrel or Fox Squirrel, only black)!

Doug Hensley . Hi I understand that the black squirrel in the UK is just a colour mutation on the American Greys which unfortunately have pushed our native Red Squirrel out,and they have ear tufts but are smaller than the grey. I hope you enjoy taking your grandson and son fishing, get them hooked young even if the fish are small and they will be hooked on a great healthy pastime. Tight Lines

Easy Fishing - thank you Bill! Yes, we did enjoy our fishing trip today, between the four of us ( myself, my son, grandson and granddaughter, as well), we caught 13 rainbow trout and grandson 1 largemouth Bass! Great Day! They’ve gone back home to Ohio now, but they will be back soon so we can go fishing again! Can’t hardly wait! Tight lines to you as well my friend!
