Thank you! No, I'm from California and I currently live in Gilbert, Arizona. However, I did graduate from BYU in Provo. Maybe the four years there rubbed off on me :)

Do you think I could use regular sugar instead of powdered sugar for the frosting? I made your cranberry and white chocolate cookies and mine didn't come out quite as pretty as yours, although very delicious. I was thinking the boundaries of an 8x8 pan would make mine more presentable for Christmas. (haha)

Hi Meredith, no, I do not recommend granulated sugar in place of powdered sugar :) The cream cheese needs the powdered sugar to thicken and have the right consistency. But, if you have a high-speed blender, you can add a cup or two of granulated sugar with a teaspoon of tapioca flour, tapioca starch or corn starch and blend it to a powder consistency. I'm glad your cranberry cookies were yummy! I'm making them again this weekend :)
