The thing to point out is Starbucks baked goods are highly enriched with artificial ingredients. They use to serve baked goods from an organic bakery in san Francisco for a few years then sold it off and went back to processed again. I remember 20 years ago they sold decedent cakes and desert in the display case. Alot of that would go in the trash bin like many other stuff it goes to waste.

Jennifer, I loved your video. I hate that I couldn’t find any others. Your content was perfect and perfectly done. The work that you put in this video was amazing. I hope you continued somewhere with this type of content. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thank you for this!!! I’ve tried two recipes so far and they’re absolutely nothing like Starbucks. It’s helpful for people to test them out so thanks again!!!!!!

Absolutely! I just added my own copycat recipe to the bottom of this video's description. It's not very healthy, but it's the closest thing I've tried to Starbucks!

@@jenniferfoster3609 If you’d like an update, I’ve made your recipe three times since I wrote this comic and they’ve each been absolutely perfect. I added some molasses and altered the spice ratio a bit (4 generously heaped teaspoons of cinnamon, 1 heaped teaspoon ginger, and a little less than half a tsp cloves, nutmeg, and black pepper. I literally just couldn’t find the allspice or cardamom but I generally prefer a cinnamon-dominant profile anyway so this worked out absolutely perfectly for me). I also noted they tasted considerably better with each passing day in the fridge, I think because of that sticky dense texture achieved from the bread trapping moisture from air that the Starbucks bread has going on too. But oh my GOD has the response to it been crazy too! I brought it in to my knitting club and they just tore it apart. This bread has achieved true all-star status for me, along with my other favorite desert loaf, Chrissy Teigan’s Banana Bread Recipe, which I really do recommend (cravingsbychrissyteigen.com/recipes/chrissy-teigen-banana-bread/). I cannot thank you enough!

I just found a recipe that is incredibly close to the Starbucks pumpkin bread! It’s a recipe for pumpkin muffins, but I bet you could try it as a loaf. So good and super moist. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqivaKqwrseqf7s

Unfortunately, none of them came close to Starbucks. :( I haven't made a video on it, but I just added my own recipe (which is pretty darn close) to the bottom of this video description. I hope it helps!
