This is such a good video and your results look great. I've been toying with repainting and dressing up my solid wall background but have no decided to go down the greenscreen route so that I can hopefully get a bit more creative with my videos and mix up the backgrounds every now and again. It looks like your results are great - thanks for sharing!

I've played around with greenscreen setups for years but the desired effect is never quite up to par to the real thing though. Love the real teal blue background you had prior to the greenscreen version.

Thanks Stewart! Was going to start experimenting with a green screen and actually just purchased one which is still to be delivered. It might not be big enough to get that separation though. We’ll see.

Hi Stewart, Thanks for this! I have a green screen and wasn’t sure what it was for (came free with some studio lights I bought. Wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do with it and now I know! See you’re still in Spain! Hope everything is going well for you both.

Great vid. I'm using a ring light as my key light. Instead of the umbrella can I use a ring light soft light to diffuse the light from my ring light? Also, Does the back-light require a stand or can you use the stand that comes with it?

After seeing so many complicated green screen lighting set ups on KZbin, it was refreshing to see your tutorial. Can you post Amazon links to the umbrella and the led light. Or at least the brand and the specs for the led light. And the umbrella For example, when i go to Anazon I see multiple umbrellas with specs - that would result with different outcomes. For example, one Amazon umbrella has these specs.”This umbrella is made of diffusive nylon fabric and easy to use in tight spaces. It has minimum light reduction”. I want to choose the “best” umbrella - if possible the exact umbrella you are using. I also see on Amazon different models of the Boling light that you show. Again, I would like to use your specific model number so if you can post it, that would be great! ( i tried taking a screen capture of your Boling but the model number was too fuzzy.) I tried to find specific links in your resources section, but I’m not finding anything about these two items. Thanks!

#DroneFilmGuide Question - Does the material type / texture make any noticeable difference in the screen?
@DroneFilmGuide4 жыл бұрын
No, I wouldn't say so. It's the colour that matters. As you can see in our example, much as it is desirable to have an evenly light background with one consistent colour, you can get by with the kind of setup we have.
