Why are the elctrical affects of grouping not factored ??

Hi, Because the number of circuits (not conductors) is not known or the loading of each circuit - this will have an impact on grouping and would be considered by the designer, which may change the cable size and therefore containment size. Hope that helps. Please Like, Share & Subscribe.

How are the cable factors worked out. 22 for 1 mm and 27,for 1.5.

Hi they are based on tried and tested unit system method the IET have established over many years. The numbers do not have a unit they are just factors taken form table from the IET guides. Hope that helped, please share with like minded people or even like and subscribe.
