I just made this pouch - My hack on this was to use a dish drying mat (from Hobby Lobby) I found a tropical fish drying mat and thought that would be the cutest iPad case. I remembered this video on the Hemmingway Pouch and grabbed fabric from my stash for the front and the binding. My zhuzh on this was I used the cut off piece to make a handle for the pouch. Turtles and fish on the outside - tropical fish on the inside, and the handle is a 12" x 2" piece from the cut off piece, binded with the same accent fabric - sewn into the long open side. It's a handy addition to the pouch. I''ll post picture in the Quilty Community!

I have resorted to straight pin ~1-2 in from the end of the zipper to my wool ironing mat and move the pin closer to the edge once I have 1 side ~mm on to make getting the zipper pull on easier

I don’t like using glue because over time it funks up your machine. Also you could have added handles or A strap for additional carry options. I’ve made these in all sizes and never used a pattern and they al have turned out great
