Honestly I think the lighter rug. Your boards are quite dark and then with the dark rug, for me, it might just blend too much. However, you have to live with it 😊 xx

I vote for the Ruggable rug for your living room. I think you’ll be happier with the neutral colors. You can always add pops of color with pillows etc. It’s always a good choice because of being able to wash it. Great for when you have pets and kiddos too!👍

Hey Sara I love both rugs but I think I like the one with less color for your style of furniture and couch, I think you have so much color you’re going to add with all your nice accessories and books, I like that your pieces of furniture are lighter that way you can change the accessories when you like, so I myself liked the light rug, but you’re the one that knows best what you like so go with your gut😊🙌🏼

The second choice is so much better. It is neutral and absolutely gorgeous. That is the one I would go to. The blue is just not what you want I don’t believe. Way too much blue and harsh looking. The neutral rugable is so much more softer and just beautiful.

Although I like the lighter rug best..has a younger brighter look. The darker one looks more vintage if that's your goal. you will choose the right one. You've come so far! Do you remember which movie had the wonderful treehouse that looked like a nest? I want one!!!😀

Sarah, you have such a beautiful family, God has truly blessed you. I put an area rug on my beautiful 130 year old newly refinished hard wood floors and regretted every minute of it. I love the look and feel of the hardwood. Very easy to maintain.

Ruggable. The colors of the one you posted are soft and lovely. I think it will look lovely in your living room. I have Ruggable. I was worried about it not having seen it in person but I love it. I have runner in my kitchen and several small 2x3 at doors. I have not been disappointed. They’re great, they look beautiful, and they’re so easy to clean and care for.

I’m getting new floors in my living areas, I just finally got the material after waiting to be delivered, so I’ve been walking on concrete floors, meantime my floors arrived I got to painting the ceilings, floors, doors, I’m getting new baseboards so I didn’t paint the old ones. Well, it all depends upon your final desired look. The ruggable looks more “formal”, while the Billie rug has a more casual, lived-in feel. To me, the Billie rug has more of the Sense and Sensibility vibe, as everything in the Dashwood home was well-loved,and well-used. They did not have any “formal” looking spaces in the cottage. If, however, you desire a more formal look to the room, then the ruggable is for you. Your husband is a great guy for all he does for the family.

Sarah, have you tried calling your local antique malls to see if they have any rug vendors?? I would maybe try that before a big online purchase...you might be able to source a wool rug second hand for that $600 price point. Worth a try!

Marlene peters- I love both rugs. The vintage looking rug has blue in it. Therefore like everyone else i wood say the neutral rug. Basically your living room is neutral and if your rug is, then your decor could be any accent of any color you want. In case your color pallet changes you are only changing pops of color. Whatever you decide your living room will be comfortable and beautiful!

Hi Sarah, rug number 2 gets my vote! It's very neutral so it will go with any colour scheme and won't dictate your room colour. But ultimately you must choose and be happy with it. :)
