This is gold. I got several great ideas from this video which is rare since I have watched so many wood working videos over the years. Thanks so much!

That improvised router table platform is brilliant. I have been wondering how I might do something similar, not having room for a router table.

Just found the channel. Looks great, and more importantly, SOUNDS great. Good job with your Rode mic, voiceovers, music, and managing machine noise. Good compression to make a very even sound level. Well done.

Thank you! Audio is very important, and machine noise drives me nuts. Slowly leveling up the audio as I go, so it will definitely always be getting better with time.

Quality video is pretty easy. Quality audio sets everything apart. Medicare video and editing is fine if the audio is good. Bad audio makes things unwatchable. You putting bath pieces together=subscribe and watch. Best to you!

Great job! It’s a great idea to keep some of those toggle clamps on hand. They always seem to come in handy!
@MakewithJake3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Totally, you never know when you will need them for a project! (but just between you and me...I actually only have 2...I just keep moving them between projects...maybe I should take my own advice and buy more)

@@MakewithJake Don't worry I won't tell anybody your clamp secret. lol

Nice jig ... use a Freud 50-501 to eliminate a step

Thanks! Good call, unfortunately my local HD only had the short guys. The link in the description should be for a taller version. Thanks for watching!

It's easy, if you have a shop😂

Did you edge band the plywood, and if so, how do you edgeband around a curve like that?
@MakewithJake2 жыл бұрын
I did not edge band this time. I think if you smoothed out the curve enough, you could probably still edge band the curve, but it would still be a little challenging.

Instead of a flat iron, use a curling iron. Works great!

how much dust collects in your drawers? I like this idea but I worry about keeping dust out of my shop drawers.
@MakewithJake Жыл бұрын
Not a lot. I have seen this concern, but while my shop is dusty AF, I feel like it would need to be SUPER SUPER Dusty to start seeing significant dust issues in the drawers.
