EASY INK BLEED AND PHOTOCOPY TEXTURE EFFECT! (PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL)

In this video I go in-depth on simulating ink bleed and old xerox/photocopy textures in your designs. I share my not-so-secret methods as well as some freebies you can download here:

Displacement values on horizontal and vertical scales will affect the strength of the "effect" in the layer. So if you have small pt. text, for example, a low value on both will work when applying the displacement. 🤟❤

Man this is by far the best and simplest ink bleed tutorial out there! A few tips and i just made an awesome poster. Love your design style as well, that dystopian style is looking awesome. I do have a question though. I was using these textures at almost minimum and the effect it made was still too much or too exaggerated, is this due to the size of my canvas?? I was using like a 1400x1600 pixel canvas.

Hey man! Loved the tutorial, quick question. The stamp effect seems to automatically make the design black and white, what if we were wanting to blend on a background that was coloured?

What I usually do is select the black and put that another background or put the background layer on top of the end result stamp layer and set the blending mode on that background layer to lighten or multiply
