Too funny! Great job showing everyone how NOT to tear apart your RV! Great job cutting and burning the carpet too so you can replace that later too!

Glad you liked it. The plan was to replace the old gross carpet with vinyl which was completed after this video. We didnt worry about drop cloths for that reason. Keep watching for the completed renovation. And now we are about to start another.

@@RoamingWithRosie Thanks for responding to my tongue in cheek response to your video! Too many times, people only show the perfect way to get something done! This was a (Turtle Man version) "Live Action"! Good luck with all your future adventures! Also, if I would have recorded myself replacing wood on the roof or the bathroom floor of my TT, I am sure I did it wrong too in someone's eyes!

Wow. That was a lot of work. I got tired just watching lol. We are wanting to upgrade our sofa to recliner seats. Going to watch part 2 now. Thanks.

Did you guys decide about recliners after watching? We love them. So comfy.
@TheTravelingPisces4 жыл бұрын
@@RoamingWithRosie We haven't. With so much going on we haven't been able to do much of anything. We are still considering it though especially now with being stationary we realize how uncomfortable our current sofa is lol.

I always focus on the task at hand otherwise you can get lost in what you are doing and that's when mistakes happen. Even with lickers and commentary. Good luck on your task. Thanks for watching!

Love the video!! I have a 1998 TIOGA i am tryin to take the couch out but can’t get the bolts and the bottom frame out the floor any suggestions??? Helppp!!!
@RoamingWithRosie2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. In the video, I not only had to use that angle grinder to cut the sofa apart, I also used it to cut the bolts. In the 2nd video we did the install and had to fasten to the slide frame again.

No problem, RecPro recliners come in multiple pieces that go easily thru the door. Can be carried and installed by one person.

Why did you remove the window dressing? Was it so you can mount the recliners closer to the wall?
@RoamingWithRosie4 жыл бұрын
Nope. Part of the interior decor change. The window decor was the original 2001 decor. New blinds and valances thru out. Reveal on the next episode. Let us know how you like it.

Ours is motorized so we should find even more excitement whenever we go to take it apart. Seriously though, why are all RV interiors about 10 years behind current tastes for their model year?

At about $1,000 for a rec pro sofa my Jack knife one looks allot nicer all of a sudden.
@RoamingWithRosie2 жыл бұрын
I get it. We have looked at a lot of home sets and wondered if they could be attached. The frame on the rec pro is built for safety though.
@risbill12 жыл бұрын
@@RoamingWithRosie I get that but since. Not gonna be using it while the RV is moving I'm sure there's a more economical option. We just built a new base for our jack knife so we could utilize the space underneath for storage. May end up just getting a regular loveseat in the near future.

Can’t watch a guy that doesn’t put a protective pad down for the floor and then he sets his grinder on the carpet and it looked like it dug into the carpet! At that point I moved on!
