Karaage chicken is my favorite thing to eat at Japanese restaurants. My husband doesn’t eat a lot of fried foods (but, like Aunty Claire, enjoys Zippy’s chicken!) hence we bought an air fryer but it really isn’t the same when cooking chicken. Your recipe looks very good and maybe I will try to make it for a gathering when we can gather! Anxious to see your uncles’ episodes!

Hi Janice! I always wanted to try an air fryer... have to find space on my kitchen counter for it. Let me know if you try it! It was delish! Thanks for all the support!

Hi Cari, Thank you for another great video. Looking forward to the ones coming up. Since Reed is Korean, I just learned that chicken and beer in Korea is a thing and its called chimak.

Hi Miles! I'm not sure if Reid know that... but I will tell him! Learned something new today. He is definitely Korean though... and a big fan of chicken and beer! lol

Cari san, Karaage chicken in Japan is always made with skin on. Their deep fry method makes chicken skin very crispy along with the outside of Karaage and juicy and tender inside.

You can put your stove on high till the temperature gets to 350 degrees (should use a thermometer) and then turn it down.
