Great tutorial! Just wondering, what if you wanted to knock out the text so it's the same color as the shirt? My understanding is that this can't be done within Kittl at this time. What process would you use to import this into Affinity Designer to finish up the design? It would be cool if you could do some tutorials on utilizing Kittl and Affinity Designer together.

Yes, exactly.... If I wanted to knock out the text I would save as a png and delete that color in Photoshop or any other editing software like that..... Canva is the same way right now too

Hey Juna, So I've been watching you Ryan, RJ, Camron and Shimmy for years. I hold you guy's responsible for my POD life. Haha. So thought I would throw this out there maybe you could do another vid or disclaimer about Creative Fabrica. I know you've done videos on them before. I started using them a while back to help fill slots, but recently have been getting a lot of CR and TM rejections. I even had a good money maker page one design pulled due to CR infringement. I don't use a lot of their stuff and it's my own fault for not checking TM. I'm gunna send this to the others also. Just trying to save others from issues or losing the merch accounts. Just Saying.. take care man.

Yes.... Kittl has some limitations right now..... they still need to have a what to clip textures to designs.... you will have to do that in Affinity designer or something similar for now.

Quick: Best design dimension for Merch by Amazon. Using 5500 x 5500 because many designs on Kittl are locked. (Padlock symbol doesn't unlock)

Hi Juna, I discovered kittl on your channel (which I also just discovered) and I have a question. For printing, you say that when creating a design it is better to use the CMYK color mode and then convert it to RGB for export to PNG. I signed up via your link Juna and so far I love Kittl! It makes creating fancy text very easy compared to my ability in Designer. Do you think it will be best used in conjunction with designer rather than on its own? Can text effects be purchase for designer like they can be for Procreate?

Awesome! Thank you! The designs and graphics can be used with Designer but the text and text effects wouldn't be... at least I don't think they could be.... If you did want to use both together the expert level would be the subscription to get.

I'd like to see you create a Tshirt and watch you import it to your Amazon Merch account. I have tried Kittl many times and when I go to customize the size to 4500 x 5400 the image that I created becomes small and is now pushed to the upper left hand corner. There is a huge box around my image and in Kittl there is no way to crop it so I have to find another program to crop it which changes the DPI. I still haven't been able to place any designs on Amazon Merch so IMO while Kittl looks cool and it's fun to use, it really doesn't work to import Tshirt designs into Amazon.

Hi Juna, I used Kittl today and the maximum file size was 1200 x 1200 px. I chatted with the company today and they said that is the maximum. Did you actually get yours to download with the 4500 x 5400 file size?

I have just stumbled across this ..... It's a pity that POD sites don't ask for a large portfolio of designs before admitting people or there will be more poor quality cut and paste work being added to flood the already, saturated with very mediocre, "kids pictures" masquerading as art. Thank goodness that the sites that pay good money per sale are choosy. This looks like something for children to use when making a present for mom.

I got to admit this Bank of Dad design isn't the best design on the KIttl site but if you look at Kittl.com there are some really great designs there.... at least I think so.... would love to hear what you think of Kittl as a whole.
