Dyneema and Spectra are chemically the same. Looks like you used solid core for the wishbone and hollow core for the bridle. I have recently been using solid core for my bridle's just because, when I did my last order, they screwed up and shipped me solid core 5mm. It has been working just fine. Thank you for showing the double constrictor knot. I have seen single constrictors fail, In 55 years, I have yet to see a double constrictor fail (though I am certain it happens). Thank you for doing the work to make this post, great video.

Thanks for sharing! this is good stuff to hear. I've had a lot of people say a double constrictor is overkill so good to hear we're not crazy

Hey - what’s that tool that you use to insert it? Is it just a nail to hold the knot in?

It’s actually called a wishbone insert tool, we carry them and other spearfishing shops probably do as well. You could also use a nail, just a higher chance of it slipping and nicking the band. Personally with as difficult as it can be to get the wishbone in, this tool has proved to be well worth it

You went the wrong way at first :') It's evident this isn't your strong point, leave it to the man who did it first (Chris Coatsman)!

Ah so you watched a video and now you're an expert, that makes sense! Any pro will tell you that there are different ways to rig things up, all based on local conditions and targeted species, as well as personal preference. We're huge fans of Chris Coatsman, as well as our local gun builders and guides
