Rafa A7s easily goes over 6400 ISO But for photography I wouldn’t recommend haha
@PrimeInChina5 жыл бұрын
@@dominicsteele8932 Yeah, but Jason knows what he is talking about. 6400 is pretty clean, but once you get to 12800 it gets fairly noisy. Can it go higher? Yeah, but it isn't useable for good looking video at that point.
@lunapictures79895 жыл бұрын
@@PrimeInChina You should watch "Now I see" by Philip Bloom. He shot some of the clips with iso 80,000 and after using neat video it was noise free with great amout of details. And it was with A7s and with A7sii and 4K it would be even better.
@solusquinto30864 жыл бұрын
In the end it is just a suggestion that suits most of the cameras that are used by normal customers. Enthusiasts may have more capable cameras then that. Even with the A7M3 I'am not worried using ISO12800. It is still usable and encoded to Full HD grain is nearly not visible.

Don't be afraid to increase your shutter angle if you're just shooting someone who's standing still and talking. 1/24th of a second for a 24p video looks fine if you're on a tripod and your subject isn't running around the frame.
@RockyColaFizz5 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I often shoot at 1/40 when I shoot at 30p in low light - if there’s isn’t a ton of motion, and it looks perfect. And it really helps keep the iso down.

Jason I have been shooting with the Mavic Zoom drone just before sunrise video clips. I get some stunning reds & oranges then I yaw around & zoom in to get swimmers. It is difficult to get a good exposure to begin with as it is both bright & dark but I opt to drop the exposure down to compensate for the brightness, then as I yaw around with the light more behind me I take the exposure up as I am not facing the light source then as I zoom in on the swimmers I drop the exposure back down. Unfortunately the zoomed in swimmer parts of the video invariably have coloured noise artefacts in it. The before sunrise part is excellent. What would you suggest Jason? Your video would indicate a great knowledge of this type of low light video!
