Out of all the tutorial scrolling for Mandarin on KZbin, this alone has helped me significantly more than the other videos I watched. Just listening into people's conversations on the street can increase your learning in a foreign language way more than the constant videos of people "Ni hao, wo jiao..." (but those still help). Thank you all so much for the series of Mandarin on the streets!

Hey, it's fantastic to see easy mandarin here on youtube. Personally I'm learning mainland mandarin, but I understand that with them not even having youtube it makes more sense to do this from Taiwan. I'd like simplified characters alongside the traditional ones personally, since I don't really understand the traditional characters (people comparing this to UK vs USA english are missing the point I think). But if it remains like this I'll still watch them. Some ideas for other videos, that I liked from easy german: ask them about what languages they speak/would like to learn, ask them about good/bad dates, ask them what makes them happy. Maybe some about their ideas about mainland chinese people, or americans would be interesting as well.

Thanks guys!! exactly what I was needing! please send a lot more!! And I think you guys should keep using traditional characters because I think they are somehow beautiful... For people that are learning, well, actually you'll have to learn both character's type soon or later if you really wanna become fluent and understand Chinese stuff... So don't worry so much about it. Traditional characters aren't extremely hard... you just have to get along with them... :)
@sasino2 жыл бұрын
True however the simplified characters are the standard now, it's more useful to learn the simplified set than the traditional unless you're into calligraphy
@MrViniciusMarcilio2 жыл бұрын
@@sasino That's the point ,man .. Simplified characters really are way easier to deal with daily. But Mandarin chinese is also way too artistically beautiful to be approached just as "useful" ya know? Also give traditional a try to see what I'm talking about
