I carry a light little cane like the one you broke recently. I also have one much heavier I purchased from Tractor Supply. I would like a defensive cane for daily carry and researching those now.

A good place to get inexpensive wooden hook canes is a farm supply store such as Tractor supply and Rural King. They are called livestock whip canes and you can usually pick them up for $15-20.

Where can I get a rattan cane? Cane Masters doesn’t have rattan. I’ve tried a G search and sources there are out too.
