Easy Mazda MX5 NB Gearbox & Diff Oil Change incl Underbody Brace Removal...

If you've thought about changing your gearbox oil and diff oil on your Mazda MX5 Miata NB then this should help. This is the SVT Sport with the 1.8 litre engine, 6 speed gearbox, and Fuji LSD Diff with the underbody body brace and it was super easy even though I had to take the brace off as well.

Since that is the 6-speed. If you drain it before you take off the fill plug and fill plug will not come off you can still fill it. It's completely open from the shifter turret to the main case. All you would have do is remove the three 10mm bolts holing in the shifter the fill from up top.
