Easy Method - Legendary Bout: Tifa vs The Martialists (Required for 7 Star Hotel Trophy)

This was super fun, Tifa is such a monster in these games just cranks out damage like no other. Just wait till you see Aerith shes even crazier.

Nice video, thanks! Enemy skill is a great materia for her in this arena. Sonic boom to boost the damage and plasma discharge in conjunction with haste is nasty.

I made a few changes (such as swapping darkside with a chakra to be safe - and it was a good call, it saved me more than a few times :D), and I also removed the luck, used the kaiser knuckles for more materia, and added a petrification ward so I could be immune to petrification. With that, I could clear, so thanks. :)

Just as a wee tip or adjustment if people wanted to they can switch out the likes of luck up and strength up for warding and petrify if they just don’t want to have the risk of petrification at all

thanks for the guide, from what i noticed on my try is that chi trap is moist effective because he is kind of stationary and trap deals alot of stagger and damage that is for last boss, again thanks

SO ONE THING. I didn't watch your guide all the way through and arrived at the Jabber without a Limit Break to take its shield off. Good news: a few attacks will kick its shield off regardless, so it's not a huge threat. Failing that, you can just run in circles around the arena and it'll come off on its own within 30 seconds. Should probably START your video by saying to watch it all the way through first tho, or put a pinned comment with your build in it and explain if you don't have Gotter, you need a solution for the Jabber; Ribbon, Warding-Petrify, or Fire would all do.

Yeah you can just stall it out but I was trying to be quicker so glad I had the gotterdamerung, but I would recommend getting that item before doing these. Just makes them easier.

@@Solestro I just finished all the Legendary bouts (except Zack) and I have yet to beat Gilgamesh in the final Brutal bout. His attacks are just really hard to parry for some reason, I'm really struggling.

Quick question if i may, you say you are already max folio before you do these fights. Is there a way to farm and max the folio ? Or does the game give more than needed ?

Well as maxed as I want to be. You can only max the folios out by doing hard mode and the side quests on hard. I don't recommend doing that I just made sure I had all the stat buffs etc before doing these. So like extra 200hp , extra damage through synergy abilities etc

@@Solestrothe last ability in folios costs 30 sp which is 3-6 manuscripts each. Unless you beat hard mode and do all the missions in hard mode I don't think you'll be ready for these fights. Took me 6 hours to beat chapter 14 on Monday.

@@RowdyRego I done all the VR missions without completing hard mode, and I havent done any side missions on hard mode. You dont need all the folios.

One majorly unhelpful aspect of this guide is that it you have the damn gottersumgang thing already. Of course everything is easier. Should make a guide for those that havent completed what i presumed was a much harder challenge. Is it easier than these solo missions?

I did all the VR missions in order? Like I thought most people would lol. Just use my guide for Rulers of the outer worlds it's not that hard once you've tried it a few times. Also you don't rely on the gottadamerung with tifa for it. The only one I relied on it with was cloud. It just makes it quicker.

Gatterdamerung isn't even that helpful for the solo challeneges lol. Use literally anything else. The compass, enhanced expedition accessory, fury ring, etc.

Why would you do the legendary before brutal… not only does that make no sense, it also makes it much harder for yourself

@@DOC_951 I'd argue it doesn't matter which order. The only relevant or compelling gain from brutal for legendary is the gatterdamarug (as far ad i can recall). With that said, I did use it for Tifa. I think that's it.

At what point in Goblin Beatdown animation do you block? Even with Precision Defence, I don't think I've ever managed to block it successfully..

Goblin Beatdown, Whammo, Guard Crush and Don't Think So are unblockable ⚠️. You have to dodge those.

@@ratreides6353 yeah I think it's pretty much required to parry in the tifa fights unless you use a magic build. But her parries aren't that hard due to the enemies basically telegraphing it before they do it lol.

Engage with a game mechanic!? 😮 Shocker lol. Dodging is easy as tifa. Just buff her up with unfettered or unbridled and you are untouchable.
