there's only been ten comments so far but none of them have been about the issue - you know 'The Big Issue. It'd be good to know that this song helped to encourage us to pass a small coin onto the homeless and to the sick. I recently saw a poster in Coventry asking people not to give to beggars - that's dangerous places we're going to. Me; when I go out - I check: sunglasses. Wallet. Phone. Some change in my pocket for the few who ask for small change. Rain that blessed stuff x

Unless I misread the lyrics.. the narrator is giving himself up (carnally) to a demonic figure in exchange for money for the rest of his life, but loses the ability to see/feel excitement.. Cave, man. And the music is majestic.
