That dish looks awesome. My favourite is to fry salmon in sesame oil, then add a little butter in the end. I squeeze some lemon drops on it when its done and then press some fresh garlic on it and serve with or without a hollandaise sauce and some boiled potatoes and carrots. :)

Lemon zest is actually a lemon peel grated very fine. If you don't have the tool she uses (it is called zester) you can use the finest side of your grater. And you have to grate only the yellow outer side of the lemon.

@Cameron Jolly NOT TRUE in everything! If you have over-salted any liquids, like soup, you can take a white potatoe, peel and slice it, then put it in the over salted liquid, boil it until the potatoe is tender and it will soak up salt! To some extent, any way! Perhaps not enough but enough to notice, and that could be enough in some cases! Try it! But it doesnt work on solid foods. Like meat or fish.

I made your Pan seared Salmon tonight for my wife and me, but I added a dash of garlic and rosemary olive oil to the lemon butter. We enjoyed the meal to the last bite. Okay, I made this but added garlic at the beginning. I thought this recipe had too much lemon for my taste, but my friend looooved it. I’ll probably add half a lemon next time. Great recipe!
