Finally someone proposing a low cost setup that is leveraging concentration to generate passive gold. Alt armies are great, but if you don't have millions of gold to invest in, most of these alts will sit doing nothing. What would would suggest to combine this setup with (second professions setup) ? Ideally, it would be another profession that has a low cost setup and that could generate passive gold through concentration, the same way your proposed setup does. Thanks, great content.

So if im understanding correctly (and im a little slow, please bear with me), the idea is that you level a crafter to skill lvl 50 as cheaply as possible. Then produce certain items using concentration to make them high tier items? And then you just setup an alt army with a variety of professions and let the gold roll in as you do some basic crafting a few times per week? Do you buy materials? How many gems for example do you craft a week typically?

100% correct. The idea is just to buy the cheaper rank 2 materials of the AH and turn them into rank 3 crafts to sell. With 2 good professions setup you should be able to make around 150-200k a month at current prices, so the idea is to obviously do this at scale. Some players are already making millions every month from this. I found it better to put all the points in the base node as the pure gems with only one stat seem to be selling better on EU at the moment. It gets you over the treshold to be able to craft T3 gems with conc.

i did this with the ring entchanment but i need the golden storm dust and gleaming shard and conentration to craft it with the best quality.. so its not worth.. its only about 2k profit per enchant..

Just multicraft, I wouldn't even bother with an enchant personally, keep the setup as cheap as possible.

Sure feels like concentration crafting on alts is really one of the few if not only ways to turn a profit though. Wasting cooldowns on rank 1 & 2 material crafts is such a huge loss right now. Trying to keep up with their prof knowledge from npc crafting orders for 10-20k each has been absolutely gutting my bank. I kinda wish i didn't farm so many old world recipes otherwise I'd feel better about prof swapping them and losing all that work.

The two I find to currently be the best are enchanting and alchemy. I just made two weapon enchants with concentration and they profit about 15k each. Prices will go down, but it is very good ATM.

Alchemy is amazing and makes more gold than this but it's so expensive and more complicated to setup, I ideally wanted to keep this simple, low investment and a really quick to turn a profit. Enchanting I may do a video for.

Seems like a lot of setup to make a few grand a day but if that's what people wanna do them more power to them. What I don't get though is that are there so many people doing this that crafting r3 gems normally with r3 mats is actually unprofitable? When I went to sleep last night every single gem I could craft was losing money (even counting multi/resourceful with craftsim). Gem market is wild.

Rank 3 gems is a prime target for concentration builds unfortunately. Collect the treasures, level profession to 50. I never timed myself but I imagine it could be done in 30-40 minutes once you have done it once or twice. Based on current prices it would be about 1.5 million profit gold a month on 20 characters (not including multicraft).

Druid's can loot certain stuff whilst in flight form, herbs is the most common one that players use it for.

So I tried this, but I stil cannot craft rank3 with consentration. Got the 25-5-20 knowledge points into a gem of my choice. Could it be that my JC is around level 30 and not level 50? Does that have anything to say?

Every level of profession skill gives you +1 skill, you need to either level up more or use some better materials for a while, that will reduce profits but you will level up naturally over time every time you use concentration.

all goldmaking options involves professions? you said this setup is casual but it kinda sounds like a drag ngl... isnt there anything more chill to do instead of running around collecting treasures and having to farm the profession skill tree? I dont even care if its not a billionare goldmaking method... anything that can play around multiple alts/take low maintenence is fine, idk selling timegated materials (per character) contactless goldmaking, raw gold or AH.... idk
