With FFS, crappie are so so easy to get on. I love them and i love to take kids out. No skill involved, get that bait in the water and drop it down. One trick is for 1 person to fish and when they catch a fish, get the other person to drop down. A bait in the water keeps the school close by. Cheers TJ!!

Love watching the fish react on Livescope. Great video.
have you tried crappie nibbles on jigs? I got away from live bait these are great when bites are finicky especially.

I never have! Might be worth a shot for those finicky fish!

Is there a water temp range when this bite gets good? Thanks
@tjsguideservice19 күн бұрын
It seems to start around once it gets below 60 and then keeps going until ice up!

Stumbled upon your channel a couple weeks back. Been enjoying your videos, TJ. Is this typically a pre or post turnover bite?
@tjsguideservice Жыл бұрын
Glad you’ve been enjoying the vids! It is both! And into the winter. Sometimes post turnover those fish will just move deeper if the basin is deeper!

Water temp?

I find this bite typically starts once water is in the 50s and continues until ice up

I believe you do not have credit for crappie fishing. My arguments is you use electronics to find crappie school. Rest of things can be done by a 7 years old boy. Find crappie school in natural way. Area, bottom couture, brass pile, etc. Show some intellect to find them. No one benefited from your video, neither electronic owners nor who does not have serious electronics.
