I think 1 1/2 - 2 boxes of cake mix does WAY better than 1. And 2 can of non drained peaches. Instead of melted butter use solid squares. I say this every time i see these because it turns out better lke that n less doughy or wet. Not being a butt, just trying to genuinely help ppl that try to make these things. ❤

Believe it or not vanilla wasn’t common for a long time. It was yellow or golden cake mix. The flavor vanilla wasn’t really a thing.

Bake for 50 minutes at 350 then check it! Make sure there aren't any clumps prior too baking or you will have the outcome she did with the runny cake batter after baking

It works better when you cut thin pats of butter to cover it all. That helps prevent areas of dry cake mix. Also, sprinkle some brown sugar on top of peaches prior to adding cake mix. I put some vanilla in the peaches too.

I prefer to use solid squares of butter to make sure most of the cake mix is covered and the cinnamon isn’t necessary. As for how many boxes of cake mix you should use depends on how big the baking pan is and how many peaches you are going to use. Also, make sure the cake is actually done.

I made this today just as directed in the video. After it was done, I didn’t like it because I didn’t have a crust. It looked just like it looked in the video. So I ended up after it was baked and done, putting on a crust and put it back in the oven and it came out great. Another thing I change was using the Duncan Hines, Comstock simply pie filling and topping peach version that I bought from Walmart. Liked it much better than just a loose can of peaches, because the Duncan Hines comes already with peaches and a gelatin mixture and it’s already season so you don’t need to add a lot to it.

Peaches should have been steeped like a peach cobbler..sugar vanilla cinnamon,and nutmeg. I add lemon cake to contrast the sweetness and cut pats of butter across the cake batter .

I make this all the time. I add cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract (also to bottom of pan with butter) I add about 1 TBSP of corn starch to liquid to thicken it up. For butter, i freeze it, then grate it in the pan, then over the cake mix. I use Butter cake mix. l also cut the peaches in ½😋
