I just added Ramen to my meals for this week after watching this video. They all look so good! For soft boiled eggs I boil the water first, then add the eggs for 5 mins. Transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking and they turn out perfect every time!

Awesome ideas! For soft boiled eggs I put eggs into boiling water. Wait 6 minutes and then immediately into an ice bath! Perfect every time I do it!

I got back from a long stay in Japan and have been craving ramen recently, but didn't want to go through the hassle of making broth. It seems like you really enjoy the boxed bone broth though, so I will give it a try using that! Also, miso ramen is super popular in Japan, but it sounds like you discovered that delicious flavor combo on your own haha.

She mentioned it but if you can find stock or bone broth that is frozen it is fresher. But either should work fine.

Idk if you've tried it but if your cooking the broth on the stove crack the egg and cook it in the broth. It makes a quick poached/soft boiled egg.

dzung perfect timing again! I've been looking at recipes to make ramen and once again you saved the day. For some reason you always have perfect timing with ingredients I have around the house. This has happened with your Strawberry lemonade, Garlic noodles, clam chowder and now this.

Most school students only have access to a microwave and, if available, have a stove for around 100 people to use. Not a student oriented thing unless they rented a place to live, in which they already have money. Not to mention, the point of making ramen for a student is that it is cheap. These dishes are at least 5 times the price of just ramen. A simple way to make healthier ramen for students is broth and some seasoning and not using the packet. For about 30 cents more (when counting how long broth/seasonings last) per meal. The ramen alone from millet and brown goes for 3x a pack of ramen comparing a bulk pack (10) of millet and brown to buying 10 regular ramens, and you even get .2 oz more ramen noodles going with standard.

I love your channel I watch your videos often!!! I love all these ideas! I didn’t know Costco sold those noodles, they do look yummy. A tip I have for making the perfect egg is if using refrigerated eggs, bring egg close to room temperature then boil water slip egg into the water and boil for exactly 5 minutes and 45 seconds to 6 minutes if extra large, then run under cool water or dip into ice bath. I peel mine and place in a sandwich bag with a little soy sauce that I then use to season in my ramen. Nothing goes to waste. Hope that helps. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Perfect soft boiled egg...every time. Bring 1 inch of water to a boil ...ypu don't want it to cover the egg. Once boiling place in the egg(s). Put on a lid and set a timer for 5 minutes. Keep it boiling. Once the time is done I stick the pot in my sink and let cold water run into it. While I'm waiting for the water the boil I set in eggs in a bowl of the hot water from my tap...less likely to crack.

Yaaaas, I've been looking for a quick miso ramen to make since I just have a tub of miso in the fridge that I need to use. xD Now I just need to go buy some bone broth~ Also, that shouyu butter ramen looks so good. haha I don't like raw garlic though so I guess I would omit that. haha The thai coconut one sounds really unique though~ I love thai curry so I wanna try it too! haha I guess I need to make all three of them~

People making this first recipe need to be aware that 1 tbsp of miso and 1 tbsp of soy sauce is around 2000 mg of sodium. That doesn't even include salt on the other ingredients added.
