Superb Presentation though alongwith SIP , formula for lumpsum investment at a particular interest for a particular time period should also have for calculating a particular retirement corpus as lumpsum yeilds greater returns for those who can afford it. Not criticizing- just saying that would have made it complete. That's all. This is Hathi nikal gaya, pooch reh gayi types😇KEEP IT UP.👍

I am a retiree. Liked your explanation. I observed that during retirement some expenses go up and some come down. Medical expenditure goes up year on year disproportionately. Medical insurance becomes very expensive. Hence merely considering 6% inflation may not be enough.

Mam, for a 45 years old, Retirement age being 60, life expectancy being 100, if a Corpus of INR 2.5 Crs is available, invested at 12% ROI, with monthly 2 Lakhs withdrawal will take a person to 100, without impacting the Principal.

at 7:12, inflation is 6 % per annum, and expenses are monthly mode, dont we have to change the inflation rate to monthly mode when calculating future monthly expenses at age 60??
@GurleenKaurTikku2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the result will almost be same. Also, the rate has been divided by 12 for calculating the retirement corpus
@abhishekluksak15142 жыл бұрын
@@GurleenKaurTikku he is not talking about retirement corpus. He is talking about the monthly expenses that you have calculated is wrong. PMT you have taken monthly I/Y you have take yearly And N you have taken 30 which should be 360 It you take all expenses in annual term that will come to 3952909.

Hello Ma'am, I am Pinak Shukla. I am in my 20s but I am really looking towards my finances. I gone through your entire video and I really appreciate the video as it is giving the awareness of saving for the future. It also calculate the amount to be saved monthly. But I think it is nearly impossible to save that monthly amount for only retirement as everyone has other plans of investing and other expanses as well. So, can you make any video regarding how can we increase our corpus of retirement every year after getting the annual hike and how can we reach our goal easily.
@GurleenKaurTikku Жыл бұрын
Hi Pinak, it is personal finance and personal to everyone as income, lifestyle, priorities are different for everyone. The ideal way to build retirement corpus is to know your corpus amount, and start saving gradually towards the same, the earlier you start- the higher corpus you have with lower investment per month.

Ma'am while calculating future monthly expenses the inflation rate was 6% but why did you consider 1.06?
@Manas123602 жыл бұрын
Also in case of calculating retirement kitty you too 25( years post retiremet) × 12. Why is it necessary to multiply it with 12?
@GurleenKaurTikku2 жыл бұрын
So, this is the shortcut that is used , if you want to apply 6%, you can simply multiply by 1.06, answer will be same

Ma'am I think future monthly expenses calculation may be wrong because inflation rate is given yearly nd monthly expenses is given not yearly expenses
@GurleenKaurTikku6 ай бұрын
Yes, it is taken as annual inflation. This will give you a ballpark of retirement corpus

Thanks for not sharing. I don't understand 1 thing, no one will need the full retirement retirement corpus on day 1 of retirement. A withdraw rate should have been factored in. Your investments will still grow with a certain interest rate
