EASY ROPE TWISTS I Natural Hairstyles for curly kids
Learning to care for my adopted daughters' hair has been a learning experience for me. I am constantly trying new styes and tweaking their routines. Both girls have different grades and different products work for each one. The products listed below are my go to products that I use for both girls. I truly feel like the experience of caring for their hair is a bonding moment. Sure there is sometimes tears, but it is our one on one special time to chat bout anything they want. When I care for girls who I foster, It builds trust and helps them to speak freely. Please consider supporting our channel. You can find my children's adoption stories and learn about our foster care journey. Have a great day!

I am so happy to see you take such good care of the girls hair. It is important that they know their hair is beautiful and not have it cut because someone finds it too much work to care for it. WELL DONE!!!

🙄y’all get on my nerves with this. The fact that the mention of BLACK or Race makes you this uncomfortable is a YOU problem not an US problem. That isn’t what’s happening here we are genuinely happy & proud that she cared enough to learn bc many dont. Y’all love to holler about not seeing color & race not mattering. It amazes me how every child behaves & how loving they are. A lot of foster/adopted kids can be angry or very confrontational. It looks like she adopted/foster them at a younger age to show them the love they truly needed at the very critical age from 3-13 years old. . I wouldn’t expect anything less watching all of these kids go to college & graduating. They are going to make you very proud momma. Children are a prodigy of their parents!

Okay so I watched your videos. 1. When you deep condition, detangle!! That’s the best time to get the easiest detangling process. Just put the conditioner on and leave it for 10 minutes then detangle in sections and braid then up when you finish combing each section. It was like it so much easier for later process of styling. 2. Use elastic bands instead of rubber bands. The rubber bands are braking off her edges slightly. 3. Braids last longer than twists which could save you more time. Good job with everything! Try castor oils and olive oil. Luster pink has some great leave ins. As well as curls unleashed and Maui moisture. I’m a curly girl myself & I love that you take the time to take care of her hair.

She pulled out the blue magic and I was laughing my head off. If there was a starter pack for raising African American girls, that would be thrown in there. 😂😂

I love that she is caring about her daughters hair, the way any loving black mother would be concerned about the health and conditioned of her baby's hair. Shows me that she took time and effort to research out what was necesarry for her baby. And she did such a great job, looks like something my mom aunties did. I am so happy to see this.

You’re such an amazing, supportive mom for caring for your baby girl like this ❤️ from what i have learned, black womens hair is a big part of their identity and self understanding, so it makes me so happy to see you supporting your gorgeous daughter like this 💪🏽🌸 im sure she’ll grow up to be a strong and healthy woman!

Growing up my mom (I’m hispanic and white) never took the time to care for my hair - wavy, not thick, moderately easy to care for - so I grew up with short boy hair. The level christy cares for her daughter speaks worlds!

I love rubber bands for my little girl. As long as they are not tight they secure for a long lasting style and you can just curb them out, no breaking the hair. Great job mama!

Lol, it's so funny watching this because it brings back memories of when I use to get my hair done by my mama lol I use to hate getting my hair done like this because it was always too tight lol but my mom would always say beauty is pain lol. And combing through my hair use to hurt so bad. So to see her movements when you part her hair it reminds me of myself. Haha. Now when I do my daughters hair and she says it hurts I say beauty is pain lol. Great job. It is so moving to see that you took the time to learn how to do her hair. Because of that I am sticking around to watch your family's journey. Thanks so much for sharing . Stay blessed 💕

I love this mother. I’m a black woman with two grown daughters and a granddaughter. I’ve seen so many little girls with no edges or hair that is dry and badly broken because of lack of care or knowledge. I love that this mom has taken the time to learn how to maintain her daughter’s hair. Our hair is beautiful and this mom sees that even though her child’s hair is different from hers. Made me subscribe even though I already practice what she’s describing. 🙂🙂
