Hi, if your talking about the regular Santa hat that is made with worsted weight yarn, 84 stitches should work. If your gauge matches what’s written in the pattern.

@@OkieGirlBlingnThings sorry. I guess I should’ve looked at which Santa hat it was. 😅 It’s your pattern for the Faux fur Santa hat. You have the size ranging from 21-24”. I was needing it to be around 26”.
