In this video I explain 3 different small business ideas you could do with your Cricut Maker/Explore and EasyPress. I think these three ideas could sell really well to the right audience. Incorporating design whether those be your own or found on Cricut's design space could see these products sell really well! I give alot of my personal advice in this video as well as share three different tutorials. Those tutorials are
Drink bottle/Tumblers - Very popular right now, you could either do personalised name or just a floral bottle for example!
Stickers - Stickers are a great and easy way to show your artwork
Slogan/art apparel - This is my personal fav as this is something I am personally working on to release!
Theres endless possibilities with these three ideas, and the more creative you get the more likely you will do so well!

Good morning from California! You are amazing! I was wondering what the font for Entrepreneur is? I have been looking for that for a long time. I'm an old lady and that is the way we used to write a lot of stuff from the 60's. An example would be a "Keep on Truckin' " poster. Thank you for your wonderful and informative videos!

I'm using my Maker to Print Then Cut a bunch of Christmas cards for my markets this weekend while watching your video :D I got mine last September and it had been a dream for a long time! Love your video, thanks for the great tips. I love seeing that you mentioned adding the rectangle to the PTC size (17.145cm x 23.495cm) so you can work out how to position your stickers - it was a huge game changer for me when I found that tip when I first got my Maker. Love the jumpers, they look awesome! My tip for newbies reading, when using iron on vinyl (or permanent as well really) is to just put the roll on the mat (I use a bulldog clip to hold the roll at the end of the mat so it doesn't keep unrolling). This way I can trim it off right under the design to limit wastage. I love the endless possibilities with the Cricut Maker, thanks for the vid! 😍

Thank you for your inspirational videos. You have explained the process so well that now I really want an easy press! While the storm is loud, it is better than the threat of bushfires we experienced that summer, here in Maleny.

I have been making shirts for almost 7 years now with the last four years it being my sole income (as a single parent household). I do not have an active Etsy shop but I stay constantly busy with just orders from locals. They love that I design the majority of my designs and not purchasing ones that a ton of other people have. So the business is extremely marketable. As for the Cricut, I have an Air 2. I like the machine but I dislike the software very much so I exclusively use my Silhouette machines. However, I do use Cricut products. I love love love their products. I do wish the weeding tool was a bit thinner on the metal part. I like the girth of the plastic handle. For this reason, I find myself reaching for my pin pen. Cleaning the mats, the easiest way to clean them is with Windex and the scraper tool. No scrubbing and only takes moments to complete. I could go on and on sharing my knowledge and love of crafting for profit. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I truly enjoy all of your videos. I am a long time watcher, I just never comment.

You use vinyl? What type of shirts do you buy and how much do you pay for a blank shirt? How much do you charge? I got close to buying my supplies, I just need the shirts. Do you just sell by word of mouth?
@stacyanthony7148

@@ale347baker I live in a small town, population around 2000 (between the two towns together). Anyways, word of mouth has been my number 1 supporter. I do a large part of my work for our local school. I am so thankful for that. As for the vinyl I use, I use Stahl's vinyl. In a pinch, I will grab some Cricut. The price point is very different between the two. A 12 x 12 sheet from Stahls' averages around $1 each (when purchased in the large rolls) and Cricut's is around $4 to $5. I sell my shirts for roughly $15 to $25. Again, small town Tennessee. Other places I am positive you can sell at higher prices. I purchase my shirts from Jiffy Shirts. However, if I have a larger size shirt needed, Walmart carries the 2x through 4x in limited colors at a cheaper price than Jiffy. Also, Hobby Lobby's prices on tshirts is comparable to Jiffy if you do not have time to wait for a shipment. My biggest selling point is my creating the designs. People come to me almost daily and tell me a thought they have in mind and then say "I trust you" when coming up with a design.

@@stacyanthony7148 That's awesome! I have a cricut and bought vinyl in the summer, along with a heat press. I bought the silhouette studio program as well. I just ran out of money for shirts, and I am learning silhouette studio program but I can't design yet. God bless you and your family, happy holidays :) Just two questions...What brand of shirt do you buy from hobby lobby or walmart? And do you design in Silhouette studio?

@@ale347baker I have the business edition of the Silhouette program so that I can run multiple machines at once. Shirts from Hobby Lobby are Gildan brand. The ones from Walmart are Fruit of the Loom and George in the men's department. Sometimes Walmart will have the Gildan brand in their craft department with a lower cost. Most of my basic designing skills I learned from KZbin. For starting out with shirts, I always always always hit up the clearance rack, especially for kids shirts. You can get them for $1 a piece at times.

I have a Cricut Explore Air 2. I have made baby onesies, book bags, coasters, Santa cookie plate, Christmas ornaments, and so much more. I think the coasters went over great! Thanks for the tutorial on stickers. I bought some sticker paper from Michaels with a $10 gift card I had from when I bought a Cricut Joy on Black Friday last week. The sticker paper is Buy one get one half off this week!! I am sure I will make some Splendid stickers!

Hi Taylah, and thank you for the tutorials. I just ordered the Cricut Explore Air 2 which are on sale here in the US. I’m curious about your printer. I can see you have the Canon TS 8200 series. Are you happy with it? Are you thinking of upgrading and if so, to which copier. Copiers are not very expensive (less expensive than a Cricut), but I’m still very confused about what to buy. Also, have you considered a larger heat press besides the Cricut? For about $225 US a new heat press system might be the better purchase than a $169 Cricut Heat Press. So many expensive decisions to make. It’s rather scary. I know I’ve just dumped a lot of questions on you! But I’ll bet “heaps” (love your word) of your subscribers would also be interested in your response. Again, I love your determination, professionalism and work ethic. You are such a beacon for so many crafters. Merry Christmas!

I had a lot of trouble with colour printing correctly when I first started stickers and even with rear facing there’s sometimes streaks :( sorry I couldn’t be much more help. @@TaylahRose The Pixma 900 series also have issues. Frankly, they are cheaply made. It’s easier to buy a new one than try to fix a $150 printer. Which might be the manufacturers goal anyway. Sure. One more in the land fill! Makes me nuts!!!

I really don't understand why you are outsourcing your "jumpers" you loose so much overhead that way, for that entrepreneur one, it was probably $1 worth of vinyl, and with it being a basic design you can literally press it in 20 seconds with a heat press (easy presses personally to me are a waste of money, they're more expensive than a heat press and require more physical work and time)
