If you are creating the same project with different machine's at once, do you use your cell phone for all of them, your computer, and your husband's cell phone to run all machine's? This is a great video Orly! My aunt and uncle couldn't find an embroidery business that would do small orders, like 12 caps for their kid's softball team. So they bought a really nice embroidery machine, set up an Etsy shop, and started doing small orders. That was probably 10 years ago and now they have 6 or 7 machines and it is a full time business. One key that wasn't mentioned is having super clear descriptions of what you can and can't do (designs, shipping, etc) and great communication/customer service. You can have a lovely product but if you misrepresent the size or the colors or don't include language that covers shipping (because you can't be responsible for how long USPS takes) you'll have a lot of headaches.

Theres so many different ones I don't know which one to invest in. Which cricket machine cuts fabric? Does it also cut paper and vinyl or is that a different machine? Do I need the heat press or can I use regular iron when using vinyls? .so many questions 🙈
@bethanyhutchinson67143 жыл бұрын
The Maker is the one that cuts fabric. It can also do paper, vinyl, and even thin wood like balsa, I believe! I find a heat press gives more consistent results, but you can try your iron on the cotton setting without steam.

WOW! Thank you so much for doing this video! I’ve always wanted a cricut and thought too expensive for my personal crafting. Never thought about taking my ideas to a grander scale, but I bet people would love to buy my original unique ideas. This was so motivational!! ❤️

One thing to remember though when doing a business is making sure you steer clear of things that are copyrighted or look like a copyrighted item. Maker’s mark actually went after a dog toy because it looked similar and had bark instead of Mark. Starbucks is going after the businesses making tumblers. Disney is known to do the same. Just something to keep in mind.

I ❤️ THIS VIDEO! Thanks so much for sharing! The first interview really has me excited to stop playing with my Cricut and actually use it to start a business! That has always been a dream of mine but I never really pursued it. NOW, I’m all in! I can’t wait!

I'm so inspired! I'm on the tipping point of starting, I "indulged" in a cricut and now I'm thinking 🤔 I could do this and that but scared and overwhelmed! And then I stumbled across this video and wow! Be interested to find someone in the UK who has success.

I love your point about not thinking of your Cricut as a crafty indulgence! I bought one over a year ago and have always thought of it as a fun toy. I really hope to find a way to incorporate it into something more than that. Thanks for this video!

I've had a Cricut machine brand new in the box for years. I got it on HSN, and it's a machine by their designer, Anna Griffin. I have no idea how to use it, but I guess I should try to learn what I can do with it.

I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!! Been a voracious consumer of all things Orly since I found you over a year ago!! I’m a nurse who is unable to work at the moment (anxiety and depression is crippling)!! I bought my cricut after your first video, and I really do feel a spark of energy and hope that I CAN do this! Love all your content, but I’m super interested in the cricut ones at the moment ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Much love from the UK 🇬🇧
