Your instruction to do one side at a time was just the ticket for me! Thank you. My trees have really sucked but this one is actually pretty.

Three things: 1) you are an amazing teacher and I appreciate your slow, detailed instructions; 2) I am going to Alaska in May for the first time and I am SO excited; and finally, 3) this painting in beautiful. I figured out some things I was doing wrong with pine trees from your direction 🌲💚

This is all excellent news! Thank you so much for your kind words. You are going to have a fabulous time in Alaska!! I wish I were going. It's been too long. I am still (years later) homesick for place I lived for only a short while. Are you taking a cruise (that's how most people go)? May is early in the tourist season. I could talk your ear off about Alaska! 🤣😂🤣

Theresa, midnight cross-country skiing? We have a place in the middle of the forest in Idaho, and I try not to go out past dusk if I'm not in the circle of light from my porch. In fact, we have a second story deck that we call the bear-proof deck. Love this video...I'll give it a try. Kathy

Yeah, I guess I should have clarified that 1) we were young and inexperienced with living around bears 2) believed that bears n-e-v-e-r come out of hibernation in the winter 3) had not yet learned wolves are also a threat, even in the city and 4) we would never do that now! Maybe I'll mention that this week! Thanks for this. 😃 A place in the forest in Idaho sounds so wonderful!!

That tree is absolutely gorgeous! It makes a beautiful front for a card, I would just attach it to a card front! Thanks for sharing and inspiring! I am wondering where you got the brush holder? It looks like a chop stick holder???
@bealaart8 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! Actually, my sister-in-law made the brush holder. I could have sold 100 of those now! Everyone loves it. I'm trying to get her to open an Etsy shop. I'll announce it if she does.

HI I'm new to your channel and am wondering what Dr. Marin's product you were using.
@bealaart6 ай бұрын
I'm so sorry! I neglected to include that in my list of paints under the video. I've added it now if you want to just click on go straight to it on Amazon, but it is Dr. Martin's Bleed Proof White.
