Seriously, better brisket than ones in specialty bbq or smokehouse restaurants. Way more tender and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Enjoying your smoker videos. I have a homemade smoker that I have total control of heat and smoke. My issue is not knowing how long to have the smoke going for while cooking? It would be great if you could include that in your future videos like you did with the jerky video. Thanks

That brisket looks amazing! Can you make a recommendation on an inexpensive smoker? I’ve tried smoking on our Weber grill, but keeping the temp constant is nearly impossible.

Pellet smokers are popular [i.e. Trager) and easy to use, but I don't care for them. Electric smokers like mine are very good at maintaining a consistent temperature, I think the Masterbuilt is one of the better ones. The good ones are about $350. Down side is after time you can have issues with the electronics (like I did). The smoker I would like to get is about $2500, made by Lone Star grillz. The one I will probably get is about $1200, its an Old Ciyntry Brazos. These are 'offset' smokers which means you burn split logs to create smoke and heat. If you are looking for the absolute best results thats the way to go. But, like I said in the video you can get very good results with the electric - these use wood chips that you can buy at Home depot. If you are looking for an easy way to get into it, that's what I would recommend. If you want more hands on and more serious smoking, go wirh a good offset (don't get a cheap one though). I can give you more info if you let me know which way you are leaning 😉

That brisket looks amazing! I would love to smoke some meat - especially a brisket. Is there an inexpensive smoker you could recommend? I tried smoking some pork belly on our Weber gas grill, but had challenges keeping the temp where I wanted it.

The thicker the steel of the smoker, the easier it is to maintain temperature
